First step on the Aussie land

All taylorian girls going to UNSW.
Entrance via Gate 9.
The serious homesick is attacking everyday.
Before leaving. The future four housemates.
In front of the Sydney Opera House.
With Caryn at the railway station. The trains are all double decker.
Pre-departure. In the KLIA with papa, mama, didi n jiejie.

Wow, finally I stepped on the land of Sydney.

Anyway, I couldn't feel any sense of aussie except the balds and blondies walking around. The summer is hot, it's even hotter than M'sia. The sun is burning directly on top of us. I could feel the sunburned.

Thanks to Caryn for bringing us around in Sydney city centre. We went on the train, taxis and shuttle van for the first day. And the well-known Sydney Opera House. It's so windy, I wish I could stay overnight there. And so, I could sense some oversea feel at night.

It's the first day in Aus, and four of us have been to many places, we went around without settling anything!!!

And today, the 2nd day, we walked around the UNSW and the housing areas. This is the first time seeing real jockeys with their horses. The racecourse is quite big which is quite frustrating as it makes us travel few more hundreds of metres to get to uni. Oh ya, my long term accommodation. It is super nice except for the distance. It's clean and fully furnished, the location is quite strategic too. It's just 1 km to Coogee Beach.

Friendliness. I expect Australians to be more friendly, but some disappointed me. They must understand that I 've to take time adapting to their slang. Speaking slower won't hurt and don't show the exasperating face when we ask for repetition.
