Chicken soup--THE PLAIN DEALER

These are the extract from an American writer, Regina Brett. She is the a well-known columnist for the largest newspaper company and her special column is THE PLAIN DEALER. When she approaches 50, she wrote a column which contains fifty life principles to depict her experiences and feelings for the past 45 years.

Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

Life is too short for long pity parties. Get busy living, or get busy dying.
短促的人生不夠用在冗長的哀悼，要忙著過活，或忙著就死

You can get through anything if you stay put in today.
若是今天你堅定不移，你就能渡過一切

It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
重拾快樂童年永不嫌晚，但這第二次只能靠你不能靠別人.

When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.

Another farewell

Again, I got a message to attend a farewell. This time, the person who is leaving is kheng tee. He is leaving to london.

21.09.09, the crazy gangs gathered at the old place--Old Town. It sounds like sp doesn't have other place for us to gather as we have been gathered there for years, and the next destination after the chit-chatting session is sure to be the K-box at Village Mall. Again, I can listen to the familiar voice singing the familiar songs. Indeed, their voices are nice and great, especially the main figure for this gathering--KT. He has the voice of Jackie Cheung!!So, you should know how nice his singing is. We had a great time at both Old Town and K-box.

The most exciting part is I'm able to meet so many old buddies that I miss a lot as they absent for the past gatherings and reunions. Let me count how many crazists attent this farewell. First, of course is the 50's babysitter--KJ,then the guys who were there : KT, ten, BQ, KP, weisheng; just 6 guys. Then, the ladies: me , vinye , yimin, caili, wanyen, yihui , pohli, dong,jooinin,yixuan;10 girls. Wow, there were 16 out of 32, it's half!!Great.

Anyway, it's sad to see another one leaving. All of sudden, the sorrow feeling arose. "you guys leaving one by one, the reunions will be lesser people year by year".

And this time, the crazy gang didn't do any crazy deed.

KT(the one who is leaving) took the photo of us, it sounds weird right?

16 of us at Old Town and the cameraman was kj's brother. The quality of the photo is a bit lousy (captured by phone's camera) and should put the blame on me as I forgot to charge my camera's batt before going.
